Solanum douglasii

Greenspot Nightshade (Solanum douglasii) is a charismatic shrub belonging to the nightshade family. This species can be found in several different habitat types, including coast sage scrub, alluvial sage scrub, chaparral, oak woodland, and riparian. This lovely native tomato species (although not recommended for consumption) boasts lovely white, purple and green flowers that hang downwards for butterflies, bees, and hummingbirds.
